Chalky and difficult to saturate
I have to keep wetting these paints over and over and leave my brush dripping with water to pick up the paint properly, otherwise the water just soaks into the cakes and leaves the top as a thick dry paste. Definitely not beginner friendly in my opinion. They're great vibrant colors but I haven't seen chalky paints like this since an old children's art set my son got from the dollar store.
